Promoting Wellness, Happiness and Mindfulness

Our Story

We are teachers of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness—with E-RYT500 certifications from the Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC, and YACEP credentials as continuing education providers through Yoga Alliance. More importantly, we are lifelong students, dedicated to living the practices we share.

What makes our guidance unique is our co-teaching approach: a blend of Yin and Yang, structure and softness, stillness and movement. Our work draws from decades of study, practice, and extensive national workshops, including trainings with Rodney Yee, David Life and Sharon Gannon, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, and many others. Our teaching is influenced by the traditions of Kripalu, Kundalini Fusion, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Yin, and Vinyasa Flow. Having traveled to more than 60 countries, we bring a broad, culturally rich perspective to everything we offer.

Our journey began like the unfolding of a lotus. In 2000, during our first yoga class, a seed was planted—one that would eventually transform our lives. At the time, we were high-stress, out-of-balance corporate professionals. Although our careers had served us well, they no longer resonated with the deeper truth of who we were becoming. As our practice deepened, the bigger questions emerged… and with them, the path forward.

Over time, that seed blossomed into a full re-invention. We shifted careers, embraced a healthier lifestyle, rebalanced our diets, and became full-time traveling yoga teachers. Our yoga is not tied to a single tradition—we honor and draw from all of them. We are, in essence, non-denominational yogis.

We believe practice must be lived, not merely understood conceptually. Real transformation happens by turning inward. Our teaching integrates wisdom from the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, energetic anatomy, Chakra Theory, and Daoist philosophy. As musicians and sound healers, we also weave vibration and resonance into the practice through guitar, sitar, crystal bowls, various flutes, drums, gongs and many other healing instruments —creating a deeply immersive, meditative experience.

Yes, we teach—but more than that, we guide. Our intention is to hold space for inner exploration, just as our teachers once did for us. We believe yoga is fundamentally about relationship: first with yourself, then with the world around you, and ultimately with the divine. With us, the practice is never a “work-out,” but always a “work-in.”
